FAQ
What if it doesn't fix my DPF fault?
If AR6400-D doesn’t resolve an existing issue, this typically means one of three things: the DPF has exceeded the threshold for chemical cleaning and requires more invasive methods; there’s another underlying mechanical problem causing the issue; or the warning light relates to a different fault in the emission control system.
In any of these cases, we provide a full refund—we only expect you to pay for results.
What makes the best DPF cleaners?
The most effective DPF cleaners offer multiple cleaning actions that support the primary DPF cleaning function. Many products contain only a fuel-borne catalyst (FBC) with just 10-20ppm of active catalysts when diluted in fuel, and much of this is wasted if the fuel system isn’t running efficiently.
AR6400-D contains a complete triple-action system: fuel system cleaner, combustion chamber carbon cleaner, and fuel-borne catalyst DPF cleaner, plus additional benefits from cetane boosting and ester lubrication. You don’t require separate injector cleaner, turbo cleaner, or carbon cleaner products.
Post-combustion cleaning with FBCs becomes significantly more effective when other deposits are removed as part of the process. This makes the catalyst much more valuable and efficient.
Why do some brands offer separate DPF, Turbo, CAT, Injector and Carbon Cleaners?
because it makes them more money. Offering cheaper single-action products gives the illusion of better value, but when added together, they are much more expensive.
Will AR6400-D clean the EGR valve?
Many customers report that AR6400-D resolved their EGR faults alongside DPF issues. EGR valves typically accumulate excessive deposits for the same reason DPFs do: carbon buildup on fuel injectors and in combustion areas reduces combustion efficiency, creating excessive carbon in exhaust gases that then deposit in both the EGR and DPF.
When AR6400-D cleans these areas with its triple-action formula, combustion efficiency is restored, and the cleaner exhaust gases can naturally scavenge and remove carbon. An EGR is designed to maintain a thin layer of carbon—this is normal. But excessive carbon in exhaust gases disrupts this balance. By reducing carbon production at the source, an EGR system can effectively self-clean when it’s no longer constantly bombarded with dirty exhaust gases.
Is AR6400-D suitable for all Diesel engines?
Yes, all older and modern road-going cars, heavy-duty and agricultural vehicles.
Where is AR6400-D made and is it safe to use?
AR6400-D is manufactured in the UK to the highest standards. It’s fully EN 590 compatible, meaning it meets all requirements for use in modern diesel engines. Each functional component undergoes rigorous no-harm testing and is covered by an extensive 7-figure manufacturer’s liability insurance policy.
Is AR6400-D a private label product?
Absolutely not. Unlike many competitors who rebrand generic products, AR6400-D is a proprietary formulation made by Archoil UK & Europe (in Norfolk, UK) and is only available to Archoil and its authorized distributors. It was developed by Andy Archer and Wojciech Łyszkowski and is the result of years of continuous development and improvements.
Is AR6400-D available in larger sizes?
Yes, AR6400-D is available in 5L and 200L drums.
